A computer code for the calculation of steady-state and transient, thermal-mechanical behavior of oxide fuel rods for high burnup.

Capabilities for design basis accidents such as RIA and LOCAs will be released in a future version of FAST.  Users are invited to continue to use FRAPTRAN 2.0 for design basis accidents.

FAST 1.0.1 is proudly developed under NQA-1-2017.

FAST-1.0.1 corrects a code bug where the executable itself was set to expire one year after compilation.  That logic was removed from the source code.
